Jonathan Harris and Jonathan Schofield pitched a folding trailer tent, a compact towable unit that unfolds into full camping space without the size or cost of a caravan.

The short answer for the product is yes, though the corporate entity standing behind it today is not the one that appeared on air.

The Investment

The founders wanted £80,000 for a 25 percent stake, and Deborah Meaden is recorded as the investor who backed the pitch at those terms.

Meaden has previously shown a preference for sturdy, cleverly engineered outdoor gear over pure novelty items, and a trailer that unfolds into a full tent setup fits that instinct closely.

A Different Company, The Same Product

By previous accounts, the founding company was wound down and swapped out for a fresh one in 2017.

None of that means the underlying product failed. The newest versions of the folding tent are reportedly still on sale through dealer networks spanning the UK and beyond, years after the original pitch aired.

Note: Based on the public record; company situations can change, so treat this as a snapshot.
