Camilla Brown and Liz Beswick pitched CollaGin, gin mixed with collagen, in series 16.

The brand is still trading, and the odd pairing has clearly found an audience.

A Big Ask for a Young Brand

The Oxford-based founders wanted £50,000 in return for a 30 percent stake, a generous share to hand over for a young drinks brand still needing to nail down production and distribution properly.

Touker Suleyman and Tej Lalvani backed the pitch together, splitting the full amount between them. Their combined manufacturing and consumer brand experience suited a small drinks company trying to scale up its distribution fast.

Real Bottles Sold, Real Shelves Reached

By its own reporting, the brand has moved roughly 27,000 bottles across around 200 UK stockists, with Ocado and Amazon among the listings at various points, and it has since added new flavours such as a Lavender and Elderflower version.

A drink built on such an unusual pairing might easily have sold once as a novelty gift and then vanished. Instead the listings have held up for years and the range keeps growing, which points to actual repeat drinkers rather than a one-time curiosity buy.

Currently On Sale Through

You can find bottles today through Ocado, Ultimate Drinks, Ginspiration, Master of Malt and The Spirit Bottle, plus occasional listings on marketplaces outside the UK.

Stocking both small, curated gin retailers and a mainstream grocer like Ocado at the same time suggests the brand has earned trust from very different types of buyer, a genuinely solid result for such an unusual idea.

Note: Based on the public record; company situations can change, so treat this as a snapshot.
