The Deal That Closed
London wanted £85,000 for a 40 percent stake, and Hilary Devey backed it at exactly those terms, with no back and forth needed on either side.
Off the back of that investment, the concept expanded into several big-name UK department stores, a genuine retail foothold that plenty of Den companies never reach.

The UK company register lists Weave Got Style Limited, company number 06738242, as dissolved on 31 July 2018, and a related entity, Weave Got Style Instore Ltd, number 06916525, as dissolved on 28 July 2015. The brand's domain no longer resolves either.
Department-store beauty concessions have faced years of pressure from shrinking footfall and cheaper independent salons offering similar treatments, the kind of headwind that has closed a fair few comparable businesses over the same stretch.
