Pedaldish solved a small, specific problem, a bowl with a pedal lid that keeps cat food fresh, and priced itself accordingly. Peter Hill asked £30,000 for a one-third stake, one of the leaner asks here, valuing the whole thing near £91,000. Deborah Meaden backed it. Low, honest valuations like this tend to come from founders who know exactly what a modest push requires and no more, and Meaden has a long record of preferring that arithmetic to a big number with a story attached.
