The pitch

What walked into the Den

BRK70 came to season 20, episode 8, pitched by three members of the El Mashtoub family around a smart golf insole that reads pressure and swing data. The valuation leaned largely on the technology story.

Proposed $350,000 conceding 15 percent, a price that implied $2,333,333.

The insole is available now: our July 2026 look found it at $349 in sizes small through extra-large with a working add-to-cart, described by the company as a first, limited production run.

Our read

The Hub verdict

The valuation is where the ambition showed: $350,000 for 15 percent implies well over two million on a golf insole carried largely by the story of pressure and swing data rather than by hard sales. Wes Hall backed it and priced that risk properly, taking 18 percent and layering a 5 percent royalty on top that runs until three times his money comes back. A royalty at that multiple says a Dragon likes the product and does not want to wait on an exit for his return. The insole ships now at three hundred and forty-nine dollars in what the company calls a limited run.

Wes Hall in at 18 percent with a 5 percent royalty

Worth knowing: The insole ships in a first, limited production run.
