A £2,000,000 valuation is the kind of number that makes a Den fall quiet, and One Hundred Group opened there: Joao Andrade and Camillo Scarselli asked £100,000 for just 5 percent of their trail-running championship venture. Events businesses are tricky to value because so much rides on a calendar of dates going well, which makes pricing at that level a genuinely bold move. Steven Bartlett backed it. A 5 percent offer signals founders convinced their event has scale, and finding a Dragon willing to engage at that price is the harder half of the job.
