Our read

The Hub verdict

The ask is a growth number for a young packaged-goods brand: a mid-six-figure cheque against a fifteenth of the business, pricing a high-protein keto pizza at a million and a half launched in 2024. That is the sort of raise aimed at buying shelf space and production rather than fixing a broken business.

Three Dragons split it at double the equity, $225,000 for 30 percent, and refused the founders' attempt to lift the cheque to $375,000. That is a panel willing to back the product but not to fund the bigger plan, which for a frozen pizza this young is a fair reading of how much shelf space one raise can buy. The pizzas are stocked in Ambrosia Natural Foods and McEwan's across the GTA with online delivery.
