Energy-efficient dome buildings and garden rooms made for one of series nine's more ambitious products, and Aidan Quinn and Gemma Roe priced the raise at £75,000 for 40 percent, a £187,500 valuation. Forty percent is a lot to release, the level at which a founder is genuinely sharing the steering wheel, and back in 2011 that was a common shape for a young building venture short on capital. Theo Paphitis backed it, which puts a retail and property operator behind a business whose hardest problem was always going to be building at volume rather than finding interest.
