The Hub verdict
Pricing a single travel-jacket brand at $2.5 million, with $250,000 sought against a tenth of the company, is the kind of ask that needs strong sales behind it, and no Dragon invested.
Convertible travel apparel is a hard sell to a panel because it competes on features any established outerwear brand can add to next season's line, and a garment built to carry gear has to beat both a jacket and a bag at the same time. At that valuation the room was being asked to price the idea rather than the order book.
