He got two, Deborah Meaden and Theo Paphitis. In safety-adjacent hardware, a Dragon's route into trade buyers and retailers is frequently worth more than the cash, which makes a large equity offer a rational opening move rather than desperation, and a pair of retail-heavy investors is precisely the return on it.
