Tech and software is where the valuations go big. Look After My Bills implied a £3,000,000 business, Playbrush £2,000,000, and both Beezer and Zapper landed near £833,000, numbers no other category comes close to. The trade-off is equity, because founders here part with the thinnest slices, down to a mere 3%.
Playbrush is the outlier. It was offered the exact £100,000 for 5% it had asked for, by four Dragons together, and said no. Parking Perx sits at the opposite pole, conceding 45% for £80,000 at a valuation under £178,000. Most of these pitches gather in seasons 15 and 16.
